Greeters & Ushers

Our greeters  and ushers are the first people visitors meet when they come to Crossroads Church of Denver.   We  depend on our greeters to personally welcome each visitor with a friendly smile, hand out bulletins, answer questions, and direct visitors who may need help.  Our ushers are equally important by helping visitors understand the layout of the building by directing them to ministry rooms, the coffee/snack room, bathrooms, and if necessary, guiding them through the sanctuary to available seats.  In addition, we count on our ushers to assist our Safety Team in keeping our members, visitors, and staff safe by keeping there eyes and ears open for anything suspicious.

Are You Interested in being a Greeter or an Usher?

If you would like to be a Greeter or an Usher, we would love to have you on our team.  This is a great way to get involved and meet people in our church family.  Go to the  Service Opportunities  page and let us know who you are and where you would like to serve.  Or you can send your questions directly to our coordinator, Mary,  by using the link at the bottom of this page.

Greeters

The Greeters Ministry offers the love of Christ to our guests by welcoming them in such a way that they are transformed from strangers into friends.

Welcome

“I had rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God, than to dwell in the tents of wickedness.”  (Psalm 84:10)

Ushers

The Ushers' Ministry serves as doorkeepers to lead, guide and assist all who enter into our church in a friendly manner that encourages an atmosphere of worship.
Greeter & Ushers Coordinator:   Mary Engstrom
Mary grew up in a Christian family and accepted Jesus as her savior in her teens.  She moved to Denver 1984 and met her husband Randy soon thereafter.  They have been married since 1989.  Mary had her son Keith later in life and decided to return to her church roots.  She and Randy have been a part of Crossroads since 2006.  What impressed Mary most was the friendliness of everyone she met there.  Now she strives to be that first smile to others that walk into our church.  Mary has many hobbies including church, family, arts and crafts, ATVing, and traveling.
